Mr Sanjay Rajoria, MD, TRF and Mr Rakeshwar Pandey, President of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union, kick started the Environment Month programme on the occasion of the World Environment Day, by jointly planting a sapling in TRF Colony. Along with them several senior executives of the Company, members of the TRF Ladies Association, led by its Chairperson, Mrs S Rajoria also planted saplings during the event.

While only a limited number of saplings – 50 only – were planted today, the company plans to plant 200 saplings during the Environment Month. In addition, several awareness programmes to sensitise employees and their family members, especially children have been planned. Some of these are sit and draw competition, distribution of saplings for employees and awareness session by renowned environmentalists. The theme of these activities will be on overcoming the menace of plastic pollution, which aligned to Tata group’s campaign on raising awareness on, ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.
