In its quest to play the lead role in helping the Nation meet its demand for power, TRF is speeding up all its projects, including the Rs 413.85 crores project for Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) at Raghunathpur, West Bengal. Spearheaded by Mr P C Sinha, this 2X600 MW CHP project is expected to be commissioned in 2011.
The scope of work for TRF covers: Equipment Supply: Supply, Design, Engineer, Manufacture, Inspect, Test and Package Plant and Equipment including mandatory spares, tools and tackles.
Services: Port clearance, Port handling, Port charges, transportation for delivery at site, installation, insurance covers other than inland transit insurance, civil work and structural work, testing and commissioning ,including carrying out guarantee tests in respect of all other services.
In addition to the site work, TRF is also responsible for supply of major project equipments, items and utilities such as:
One Wagon Tippler with Hydraulic Drive and Side Arm Charger with hydraulic Drive.
One Dry Fog System, DE System, VE System and Systems for Plain Water Service, Portable Water, Cooling Water and Sampling of Water.
- Two Stacker Cum Reclaimers.
- Four Plough Feeders with hydraulic drive.
- One Apron Feeder.
- Four Roller Screens.
- Four Ring Granulators.
- Four Travelling Trippers.
- 26 Belt Conveyors (Approx 6.5 KM)
