Business Excellence and Quality

Having entered into the Tata Brand Equity and Business Promotion (BE-BP) Agreement, with Tata Sons Ltd, TRF Ltd strictly complies with the Tata Group Policies, Tata Code of Conduct (TCOC), and conducts business according to the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM). As a matter of fact, the Company has scored 504 points (out of a maximum of 1000) in this TBEM assessment, which reflects on TRF Ltd’s dedication towards serious adoption and implementation of TBEM. As a continuous process of growth, the company has implemented several steps to improve the score:

  • Internationalization of the company
  • Co-creation of the Values – Business Principle – Mission -Vision of the company and developing strategies accordingly
  • Greater emphasis on new product development
  • Renewed thrust on CSR activities by the TRF Ladies Association
  • Developing new 2- way communication forums
  • Introduction of customer and vendor meets

 

Recertification of ISO 9001-2000 version is being obtained by various divisions of the company as and when due.

Certification of BMHS Division for IS0 9001- 2000 version is in progress.

 

Quality Management

To ensure that its customers receive consistently reliable products and services, TRF Ltd has the required Quality Management System in place.

The Quality Management Systems of the Bulk Material Handling Equipment Division and EPC & EPCM Division are certified ISO 9001:1994, and that of Port & Yard Equipment Division, ISO 9001: 2000.

 

Human Resources

For TRF Ltd its employees are its most valuable resource. The vast experience and expertise of the qualified and trained personnel ensure start-to-finish customer satisfaction. A team of experts, comprising all vital disciplines, constitute the base for each of the technologies, further supported by R&D, marketing, sales, procurement, information analysis, accounts, finance and human resource development. Great emphasis is placed on the training and education of the employees so as to hone their skills, making them fully conversant with the latest developments.
