- Winners of TRF doubles badminton tournament; ladies & men’s with MD, TRF, Mr Sanjay Rajoria and Mr SK Jha, General Secretary, Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union.
Total of 22 men and ladies doubles participated in doubles badminton tournament from held from Monday, 19th February to Wednesday, 21st February, 2018 in TRF Limited. The finals were played on 21/02/2018.
Winners in men’s doubles (below 40 years) were Pinku Singh and Gurnam singh who won 2 matches in a row at 21-17 21-14. Afzal Haider and Ramesh Kumar were runners up.
Winners in ladies doubles were Priya Mahato & Rajeshwari who won 2 consecutive matches at 21-11 and 21-8. Pallavi Gupta and Sushma Kumari were runners up.
Winners in the men’s (above 40 years) were B Purty and RS Jha who beat Jayant Sinha and Rajen Sahay at 21-9 & 21-16.
MD, TRF, Mr Sanjay Rajoria along with senior executives of the company, committee members of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union, large number of employees with their families witnessed the matches that were played in TRF Colony.
